About Dr. Pongia

Vincent J. Pongia Jr., DPM, FACFAS, has been providing expert, compassionate medical and surgical care of foot and ankle disorders for over 30 years. He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma at Brandywine Foot and Ankle Associates in Coatesville, and Limerick, Pennsylvania. He is also a wound care specialist and certified in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, laser surgery, and ankle arthroscopy.

He is a graduate of Salesianum High School, DeSales University, and the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency training in foot and ankle surgery with a concentration in wound care and limb salvage at Metropolitan Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, and Chester Crozer Hospitals. 

Dr. Pongia is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Pongia has served as an educator with a teaching appointment at the Coatesville VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania, training surgical residents in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He continues to train the incoming surgical residents at Brandywine and Phoenixville Hospitals, as well as Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Over the years, Dr. Pongia has served as Service Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Brandywine Hospital and also has hospital privileges at Phoenixville and Pottstown. He is the first podiatric physician voted the Top Doc in Main Line Today in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. 

Dr. Pongia has been in private practice in Chester County for over 30 years, maintaining the highest standards of care for his patients. Dr. Pongia currently practices with Dr. Kevin DeAngelis and Dr. James Cancilleri and remains firmly committed to serving his patients and the surrounding community.
